Is Vishay's SI2302 a drop-in replacement for the 2N7002?
In most circuits, yes — both are SOT-23 N-channel logic-level MOSFETs with similar gate thresholds. The SI2302 has significantly better specs: 2.8 A vs 300 mA continuous current, 65 mΩ vs 2.4 Ω Rds(on) at Vgs=4.5 V, and lower gate charge. The only caveat is voltage rating: SI2302 is 20 V vs 2N7002's 60 V, so it is not suitable for 24 V or 48 V rails.
Are Vishay parts automotive-qualified?
Vishay offers automotive-qualified variants of most discretes with the "A" or "E3" suffix, carrying AEC-Q101 qualification and PPAP documentation. Specify the automotive suffix on your RFQ if your design targets automotive applications.
What is Vishay's lead time?

Can you cross-reference Vishay MOSFETs with other vendors?
Yes. SI2302 (Vishay) is functionally equivalent to AO3400 (Alpha & Omega, 30 V / 5.7 A) and NTR2101P (onsemi, 20 V / 2.8 A). All are SOT-23 logic-level N-channel MOSFETs suitable for load switching and level shifting under 20 V. We can quote multiple vendors on the same RFQ.
